Partial victory in WA state salmon killings! A bill authored by Rep. Barb Lisk (R-Zillah) has been signed by Gov. Gary Locke—although he vetoed part of the billthus delaying its implementation. Locke’s veto message indicates that he believes that wild salmon and hatchery salmon are distinct and genetically different, so how this bill actually gets implemented will be telling. Rep.
