The future of Yucca Mountain

In the May 2002 issue of Red Herring, Peter Schwartz writes, “What’s the urgency to get Yucca Mountain online? Still the land of fruits and Nuts

I was directed to Csabe Caere’s edititorial in Car and Driver by a reader of PushBack, who told me: The October, 2002 issue of Car and Driver Magazine has a very well written editorial about Governor Gray Davis signing California Assembly Bill 1493 into law. Csabe Caere, the Editor-in-Chief, writes on page 13, a very clear explanation of how ridiculous the supposed goal of AB 1493 really is considering the scope of CO₂ emissions in the world. He also points out the power given to CARB to follow their self serving whims to solve this problem.
