Bill DeVall and King Range
Stop the Environmental Hypocrites
Please read the following background,

King Range National Conservation Area. (Sorry, KGO deleted that page.)
Way back in 1970, the U.S. Congress declared 60,000 acres in Northern California the "King Range National Conservation Area", to be managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). Existing residents were supposed to be able to remain, but in the years since they have been harassed, told they could not repair roads leading to their property, and
even had locked gates installed across these roads.
Now, one of the individuals (Bill DeVall, author of Deep Ecology) who led the effort to create the Conservation Area has built a virtual mansion in this protected area. This, when all new development is supposedly not allowed, and the BLM is trying to force other residents out. Mr. DeVall often flies guests in to his getaway via an airstrip.
